Queen's Award for Voluntary Service
We are hugely proud that, in early 2022, Queen Elizabeth II approved the QAVS National Assessment Committee’s recommendation that the volunteers of The Wylye Valley Art Trail should receive the prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS). It was one of the final awards made by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth before she died.
This is a fabulous honour and reflects profoundly on everyone involved with WVAT over the past 25 years, from the organising teams through to the participants.
